created the set for the show, and though some of the... pieces are custom and not yet available, you can buy similar sets and other cities at

If you are feeling lucky, you can print each side as a full set, but the full New York plate might be too big for some printers. The sets of eight are all small enough for 4" plates. Individual models are also provided to allow creation of custom arrangements.

How I Designed This
New York Side
Most of the buildings were available in [Skyscraper Chess](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:151430) by [sitts314](http://www.thingiverse.com/sitts314/about). The three I had to find were the Woolworth building (knight), One World Trade Center (king), and VIA 57 W (pawn). I found the Woolworth building at https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=62ee12c761393dd485c2f608dcc5e66. The source for One WTC is [Freedom Tower](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:36653) by [mphelpsm](http://www.thingiverse.com/mphelpsm/about). I found a skeleton of VIA 57 W and recreated it in OpenSCAD with help from [Bezier Mesh Surface V1.0](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8786) by [WilliamAAdams](http://www.thingiverse.com/WilliamAAdams/about). I used OpenSCAD to import, scale, and arrange. Unfortunately, the GCAL rendering engine has problems with some of the pieces, so I used Blender to create some of the multi-piece plates.
