A sim...ple but fairly capable robotic vehicle, intended to be built mostly from stuff that people already have lying around. One gearmotor, one servo that doubles for steering and building a map of obstacles in front of the bot. Designed for 3D printing on a 100x100mm build platform. In Openscad, so you can modify to fit your own parts if necessary. (You will need to put the servo-arm and round-corner cube files in your openscad library folder if you don't already have them.)
Basic software (with pinouts for Teensy 2.0) is currently available at https://codebender.cc/user/pw314 (broc1-broc4).

- L293D motor driver chip or equivalent
- two-shaft gearmotor

- small USB charger or 6.6/7.4vLiPo battery
- 7805 voltage regulator (if using LiPo)
- IR remote control receiver (optional)
