Dungeons and dragons (d&d) dice holder 3D for print

From experience, I know that it might take some experimentation to get the threads to print properly. That's why I've included a part which is just the threaded part of the cup.
The lid is the D&D logo and the cup was my attempt at creating a dungeon wall.

One of the biggest challenges that I had was se...tting up my printer and slicer to make a nice clearance between the threads and making sure that the parts weren't oval. If you are having problems with that, check out my design for Scaling and Horizontal Compensation Calibration. I don't know if it is possible to print the threads without supports, so I had to spend several minutes removing small support pieces between threads. You may need to play around with the resolution of the support structures so the threads and bricks are fully supported during printing. I printed the lid at 0.2 mm and it turned out Ok. However, the logo would probably have looked smoother if I had set those layers finer.

My son loves D&D. When the case for his dice broke, He asked me to make him a new one. Plastic hinges don't seem to last, so I thought I would design ...a screw top instead.
