3d model description

Astro Jetson, from the cartoon The Jetsons, by Hanna-Barbera.
Astro is the pet of Elroy Jetson. He has a flair for dramatics and is not ashamed to cr...y for attention. His main form of exercise comes from walking the floating treadmill outside of the Jetsons' house and attacking George Jetson whenever possible.
Astro's signature expression was "Ruh-roh!" (or "Ruh-roh, Reorge!"),
No user supports are required. One part is included with and without built-in supports and one part is included with and without a built in 'brace' to help hold the part down for printing. If you have the proper filament colors, no painting is needed.
The assembled model is 200mm tall and is in proportion to my other Jetsons models.
Enjoy!

Printing and assembly tips
Printing tips
1-No supports are required.
The part face_with_supports includes built-in supports. The built-in support is also designed to hold the part down while printing. To remove this support/brace, peel off the top flaps and simply snap the rest of the supports off. It's a tight support, but should snap off cleanly once you remove the top flaps.
The part face_no_supports is also included if you want to use your own supports.
2-One part has a small base and is top heavy.
The part head_with_brace includes a brace on the part to hold it in place while printing. Any minor disfigurement from removing the brace is hidden inside the model and does not need to be cleaned up.
The part head_no_brace is also included.
3-Use your discretion for using brims or rafts. I used a brim on the mouth part but even that might not have been needed.
..
Assembly tips:
1-Take your time gluing the model together and enjoy the process. This particular model goes together quite quickly.
2-I used E6000 sticky craft glue to put this model together. The sticky glue allows more time to position the parts than a fast drying superglue. I have 'fat fingers' and a shaky hand, so the sticky glue works out best for me.
3-I found that gluing the head/face/collar all at the same time made for the best fit. Put the face into the collar and tilt the head back while inserting it into the collar and it will fall in place. Be sure that both the head and face are fully inserted into the collar.
4-The eye_blacks may look quite symmetrical but they are not. Be sure to rotate them so they fit all the way in.
5-The mouth part snaps into the face, a little pressure is needed to insert the part.
6-Refer to the assembly diagram in the pictures section as well as the uploaded pictures for putting the model together. The model is meant to be glued.
Do not hesitate to ask questions, feedback is essential to making better models.
