Mr. COVID Head. Just like Mr. Potato Head, only much more infectious. You could make just one, but Mr. COVID Head rarely travels alone.
The snap fa...ces on the body align with the faces of a rhombic dodecahedron, so the “Connectors” form the struts of an octet truss. You can infect 3D space infinitely!
There are a few important considerations for printing.
The “Stems” have built in supports to allow the male snap to print properly. You do not need to add additional supports, but brim might be helpful.
The “Eyes” and “Mouth” also have built-in supports to allow the male snap to print properly. However, you will still have to add your own supports to support the object, as well as provide a base from which the built in supports can start printing.
The “Body” has two holes with horizontal overhangs at the top. The overhangs are less than 5mm and can be bridged with a well calibrated printer. You may need to do a small amount of filing to smooth the surface, but this option is likely easier than using support for these small overhangs.
