Sheath to protect knife edge (and fingers) Fits Cutco #1764C
Sheath to protect knife edge and fingers. I printed mine out of bridge nylon because I ...thought that it might be more durable and less prone to breakage. So far I like it very well (except for the latch getting caught in the blade holes)
Sheath works great, but I slightly changed the design after printing mine because the latch gets caught in the holes in the knife blade and a very small portion of the edge near the handle is not protected.
The design I printed is labeled _original
The Updated design is labeled _updated - I believe that it is good, however, I have no need for a second cover and have not printed it.
Feel free to play with the OpenSCad design to modify for your own purposes. I believe that the design should be fairly easy to modify (parameters), but it is also tailored to this knife and I have not tried to adjust it to fit any others.
If you load both designs in Cura, you can easily see the differences in the latch - slightly wider to secure better and higher to hopefully avoid getting caught in the holes in the blade. You might also see the angle in the updated design is 1 degree greater to hopefully cover the tiny bit of exposed edge that I had in my original design.
By the way... I printed mine standing on edge as you see in the Cura photos. I don't think it will be successful printed in any other orientation.
Thanks & safe cheese cutting! (and knife storing)

Whatever your desired material for printing is. Should probably be somewhat flexible. I used Bridge Nylon on a UM2....
