You need 16 wood screws to fix a frame and 4 smaller ones to fix the Plywood. Screw tight, otherwise the structure will be weak. Repeat for the needed amount of surfaces. Tip : the more boards, your shelf has, the strongest it will be.
Once done, slide the furniture's legs at the wanted height and screw on place with the remaining holes in the Jonction-P connector.

If you want to use a different type of wood section, download the parametric file and customize the dimensions of the original sketch. The model will adjust to this new information.
If the final structure lack strength, do not hesitate to use the connector's remaining holes to screw the furniture to the wall. Also, the remaining holes can be used to attach metal cables to create a X at the back of the structure, giving it a better triangulation. I also provided a small plastic part (Contreventement) that can be used to assemble several Jonction-P modules together.

Jonction-P is a simple but strong plastic connector allowing you to build custom and modular furniture, using rectangular wood sticks. The square vers...ion of this model, using a wooden profile of 17mm x17mm, found at Leroy Merlin, in Paris, has the advantage of being reversible. The same component can be used to build a table, a shelf or even architectural structures (if you are motivated enough). A parametric file is provided to adapt the design to different wood profiles. Just update the dimensions of the original sketch is Fusion 360 or SolidWorks and validate this new reference. To build your own Jonction-P furniture, using the provided model, you will need 17mmx17mm (18x18) wood sticks. Here, we used the affordable pine wood ...available at this dimension in our local hardware store, Leroy Merlin. First, sketch the dimensions of the furniture you want to make and cut the wood sticks accordingly. You need four wood parts and four connectors to complete a frame. To fill this frame, you\\\\'ll need to cut a wooden surface out of PLYWOOD.
