Notes:
Support is recommended for... Lapras only. Best to use support from build plate only. I suggest using layer editing to increase the resolution in areas where the surfaces is flatter. For example, the top of totodile's head.
Post-Printing
Insert nuts
Apply super glue to bottom and 1 side of the nut, and drop it into the base. Tap on the baset to make sure the side of the nut with the glue touches the inside wall. Continue to do this for 3 more nuts, totaling to 4 nuts per base. The nuts can be M8 or 5/16 inch. Continue with the rest of the pieces the glue can cure. After a few minutes, you may go back to the first piece, and turn it upside down, and shake and tap rigorously, attempting to shake the nuts loose. If there is not rattle, you can move onto next step, if you hear any rattle, then force the nut out and apply more glue. The mentality is if it rattles now, it will for sure come loose with play, and by then, you won't be able to fix the rattle.
Glue the pokemon onto the base
Once the nuts are rattle-free, you may glue the pokemon onto the weighted base. Make sure you orient the button of the pokeball towards the front, and that the shape of the base matches the shape of the pokemon (circle to circle, pentagon to pentagon, etc...) Apply the glue onto the base on top of the pokeball, surrounding the hexagon shape. See below red circles. Do not apply the glue on the pokemon as it may prematurely glue itself onto other surfaces when you try to assemble it.

I remixed sch00f's chess with with low poly pokemons for easier printing. The pieces are arranged by height so pawn is the shortest, and king is the t...allest, etc...No support needed, although Lapras could use some support on the fins for nicer prints. Each base will take 4x M8 nuts for the perfect weight.3d model print parameters
