I designed angles for planed 44 - 45 mm beams in FreeCAD.
The angles themselves have an edge dimension of 38 x 48 x 48 mm, I chose t...his dimension because of the usual 45° bevel on the beams.
There are these angles also square or pointed.
I printed the angles with PLA and PETG, for a high load capacity the angle 3 should be printed lying on the side with 6 perimeters (outer lines), provided: a 0.4mm nozzle is used.
The screw holes are designed for 3 to 4 mm countersunk screws.
Version 3b, unlike version 3a, has additional support elements, which make the angle more resilient.
As far as the load capacity is concerned, a similar angle made of solid steel is of course more stable, but this is often not necessary and the small angles should not be underestimated.
I would be very happy about a small https://paypal.me/d23elt05a donation or a picture of your print, and would be happy if you visit my other Designs. :)
