When you solve the puzzle it comes together to make the ancient Chinese "Head of an Ogre" face.
I...'ve included blank tiles that you can put your own 3D relief images onto....
OR you can print the blank tiles as is and glue a regular 2D image to them.
3d model print parameters
Everything will require full supports except for Puzzle_bottom.STL! Print Puzzle_bottom.STL and Puzzle_top.STL. --------------------------------------...------------------- THEN DO ONE OF THE FOLLOW.... 1. If you're going to use the **Head of an Ogre**, then just print Ogre_piece1.STL - Ogre_piece9.STL. I printed mine with a 0.3mm layer height, but it would probably look a lot better if you printed in 0.2mm or 0.1mm. 2. If you're going to glue on a **2D image**, then print Blank_piece.STL 8 times and Blank_removable.STL once. You'll want your 2D image to be about 4.25 x 4.25 inches large. 3. If you're going to make a custom **3D image**, then load Blank_piece.STL and Blank_removable.STL into your 3D modeling program, copy Blank_piece.STL so there are 8 total, and arrange them like this.
Then put your 3D image over it and cut it up using a plane cutter or whatever your 3D program might have. --------------------------------------------------------- Then put all the pieces together. I used **#6 Machine Screws** that were **1/2" long** and **#6 hex nuts**
