The zip file contains a .blend file that can be edited with Blender. The model comes prerigged to make posing easy. To add additional weapons/armor ju...st import what you need and parent the weapon to the palm bone of your choice. Example: Either delete, clear parent or hide the original Bolter. Import your weapon of choice and place it in the hand of the model where the natural grip would be. Then select the metarig, change to Pose Mode. Locate your import in the Scene Selection list, click on it. Then locate the small palm bone on the armature, while holding shift+click to select the bone. Then press ctrl+p to open “Set Parent To” window. Select “Bone”. Now the new weapon will follow the pose of the palm bone.

After you’re done posing export all the visible pieces as a single stl file. Import the stl into your favorite program to fix any errors. I had the most success with Windows 3D Builder. Repair any errors and slice with your preferred program.
