Printing Tips
Before Printing
Make sure you have a correctly sized spool for this model. This was designed for Hatchbox spools, however I can't gu...arantee that all spools from the manufacturer are the same size.
Outer diameter: 200m
Inner diameter: 80mm
Space between the sides of the spool: 61mm
Printing
This design does not require supports.
If you have issues with curling, especially on the guide parts, add a brim.
Low infill is fine.
This design has short bridging sections, but nothing very challenging.
After Printing
Glue guides into the inside of the spool. Make sure they are lined up with each other and wrap all the way around the spool. If unsure, just glue 2 or 3 arms of the guide and test it out.
Insert the locks into the bins. The top side of the locks is slightly chamfered on the back.
Slide the bins in and lock. If the locks are too tight, check if your printer is creating an "elephant foot" by squishing the first layers down. This can be fixed with a little sanding or trimming with an X-Acto knife.
