Making hexaflexagons is a popular past time with my kids - so who would have thought that a hexaflexagon could be designed and printed in 3D. Well, it... turns out it can, and it works just like the paper ones, only with a pleasing feel in the hands, strangely like prayer beads, once you start you can't put it down - enjoy!

The hinges are printed in place, so you need a properly calibrated printer. Only the outer hinge needs to be snap-fitted together. The folding pattern... is quite tricky, but look at the photos and use the symbols as a guide. They should all be facing up, but I'm sure you figured that out! This is best printed with multiple colours using the Sailfish **Pause@zPos** function. With the default **tri_height**, pause the print at 1mm and 5 mm (for customised versions, that is 1 mm and tri_height - 1mm).
