This spacer is used on the x/y rods of an UMO betwee...n the bearing and the pulley. Scaled to the needed length it allows for fixing the rods with the pulleys from the inside of the frame instead of using end caps with friction. The idea of the design was first introduced by Ultimaker with the UM2.
