). The cap can be removed when the device is unlocked which then allows the rings to be removed, the combination changed, and then reassembled.
The flash drive case customizer from (

) was modified for the increased length of the cryptex due to the addition of the locking cap and addition of some friction fittings so no glue is needed.

The cap is pretty snug, if it is very hard to tur...n, or if when locked into place the flash case can't be inserted, the cause is most likely that the underside of the 2 nibs on the cap need some cleanup and light filing.
