A whimsical box for my whimsical Doctor Who Chess set that doubles as a playset, complete with console ...and timeless companion. The console fits into the box when closing to become the light on the top of the TARDIS.
The version with a shelf is slightly harder to close with all the pieces in it, but makes for better pictures.

This will print successfully on a small form 3D printer, unless you have to scale it up to fit your scaled up pieces. The console needs to be ...rotated and printed with supports. K-9 will print without supports, but prints better with a few of them under the chin. "From build plate" on the support setting should address both of these well.
